Do you ever feel like there
must be more to life than just scrambling around trying to make a
living? How long has it been since you took the time to help someone
in need? We are all so fortunate, yet there are millions of people
in this world who could really use our help.
We found a
great way to help some of those people in need by raising money for
local charities. Now you can donate your excess telephone and
computer networking equipment for a legitimate tax write off.
You can write off up to $5,000 per lot of donated equipment.
Simply call us and we will take care of everything. We pick up your
equipment and provide you with a donation letter from a 503C
registered non profit organization.
You and your donations
really do help to make a difference. Please call us to see how you
can help.

Child Abuse
Council - http://www.cacscc.org The Mission of the Child
Abuse Council is to actively develop, support and coordinated
community efforts to prevent child abuse and heal its effects. The
emphasis of these efforts is toward the low-income, ethnic and
language minorities, the disabled and other members of the
community who may have limited access to resources.
The
Child Abuse Council, established by the County Board of
Supervisors, began as a committee in 1980 to improve the
coordination and cooperation among public and private agencies
providing services to child abuse victims and their families.
Reorganized into its present form in 1987, council members
encompass representatives from public and private organizations,
professional disciplines, diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds,
and representational geographical areas of Santa Clara County.
Council meetings are held monthly and are open to the public.
Programs funded by the Council through non-profit agencies
include the following: parenting classes; group education to
children, teens, and adults; peer counseling; home-based services;
mentoring programs, etc. We serve low-income families, ethnic
minorities, disabled children and adults, parenting and pregnant
teens, homeless families, etc.
Vanished
Children's Alliance - http://www.vca.org
The Vanished
Children's Alliance is a national nonprofit organization dedicated
to the prevention, location, recovery and reunification of missing
children. VCA assists missing children and their families around
the world through networking, referrals, technical information,
searches, and emotional support.
VCA's goal is to reduce
the number of missing children with our abduction prevention
program and increase the location and recovery of missing
children.
With offices in San Jose CA and Silver Spring MD
(Washington DC Area), VCA has assisted in more than 22,000 cases
of missing and abducted children since 1980. Of these, we have
documented that more than 90% have been found. All of our services
are free of charge, as we are dedicated to keeping children safe
and bringing missing children home.
The Vanished
Children's Alliance was formed in 1980 by Georgia K. Hilgeman,
VCA's Executive Director, and other professionals and victims to
address the growing need for victim parents to obtain credible,
effective and compassionate assistance in the location and
recovery of their missing or abducted child(ren).
As one
of the country's oldest and most experienced missing children's
organizations, VCA is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation
providing nationwide and overseas assistance to families in all
categories of missing children: non-family (stranger) abductions,
family abductions, and runaways.
"[The Vanished Children's
Alliance has] consistently taken the lead in developing new
capabilities and services to assist both law enforcement and
families of missing children. I have recommended VCA to many
families of missing children and have never been disappointed by
their response."
