Polycom VVX400 phones can forward calls to a local or offsite number. You have 2 types of forwarding that can be done. Always and No Answer. The Busy forwarding only work in special instances and for the sake of functionality we will say it is not possible. Always forwarding will instantly forward calls to your designated forwarding destination. No Answer forwarding will forward calls to your designated destination after a predefined number of rings (Example: The phone can ring for 3 rings and then call forward).
Press the “More” button below the lcd screen to the right.
Select the 1st soft key labeled “Forward”
Now select the type of forwarding you desire. Always or No Answer. As stated earlier the Busy option is disabled.
Selecting Always requires you to add a number and is instantly forwarded
Selecting No Answer requires you to add a number and set the number of rings

Tip of the day: How to setup Call Handling Modes for Out Of Office forwarding to cell phone. Go to your Connect software, click on Connect, Settings, Call Routing. You will see under Availability Routing the When line with a drop down arrow, hit the arrow then select Out of Office. On the right side select Incoming Calls Are Immediately Routed To, hit change, then at the bottom select Always Forward My Calls To and enter your cell phone number there and hit save. You can now change your Call Handling from your software or your desk phone by hitting Mode/State depending on model of phone and software. Using One Number Access to do advanced call forwarding or ringing of multiple phones in a users profile. Log into VO Configuration Manager (virtual office), go to Users, More Options, Select Edit, then Advanced Settings. You can simultaneously ring phones or ring one phone then another and another. You can also set it to wring another phone when Internet Connection is down.
