San Jose​ based 8x8 reaches the 1 million user mark and is rated as the highest quality cloud based phone system by the Tolly Group.  They tested 8x8, Microsoft Skype for Business, RingCentral, and Google Voice for voice quality.  They tested for packet loss, jitter (delay), bufferbloat and other conditions that negatively impact voice quality.  8x8 ranked highest in the majority of the test cases and overall ranked highest.
